Refund Policy

At Ellie May Yoga, we strive to provide an excellent experience for all of our clients, both in our yoga studio and through our online shop. This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which refunds are available for our services and physical products.

1. Services (Yoga Classes, Workshops, and Events)
1.1 Yoga Class Bookings

For in-person and online yoga classes, once you book a class, no refunds will be provided unless:

  • The class is cancelled by us (in which case you will receive a full refund or credit for a future class).

  • You have a medical emergency or injury and provide us with a valid doctor’s note. In this case, we may offer a credit for future classes based on the remaining time of your package.

If you can’t attend a class, we encourage you to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations made after this period may result in the loss of your payment, unless otherwise stated in our booking terms.

1.2 Workshops and Special Events

For workshops, retreats, or special events:

  • Cancellations more than 90 days before the event will receive a partial refund.

  • Cancellations within 30 days of the event will not receive a refund but may receive a credit toward a future event, depending on the circumstances and at our discretion.

We recommend that you check specific cancellation terms for each event, as these may vary.

2. Physical Products (Yoga Equipment, Apparel, etc.)
2.1 Return and Refund Process for Physical Products

If you purchase physical products such as yoga mats, apparel, or accessories, we offer a 30 return policy. To be eligible for a return:

  • The product must be unused and in its original packaging.

  • The product must not be damaged or altered in any way (unless the damage was caused by us or during shipping).

  • Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required for any return.

You can return your item(s) for an exchange within 30 days from the date of purchase. After 30 days, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

2.2 Non-Refundable Items

Certain products are non-refundable, including but not limited to:

  • Opened or used products (e.g., opened yoga mats, personal hygiene items).

  • Gift cards or vouchers.

  • Discounted or sale items (unless otherwise specified).

2.3 Damaged or Defective Products

If your product arrives damaged or is defective, please contact us within 30 days of receiving the product to request a return, replacement, or refund. We will provide you with a pre-paid return shipping label for the return of the damaged product.

3. How to Request a Refund or Exchange

To request a refund or exchange, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us at info@elliemayyoga.com with your order number and reason for the refund or exchange.

  2. For product returns, please include photos of the product (if damaged or defective).

  3. For services, provide details of your cancellation request or the reason for your refund (e.g., medical reasons).

Once we receive your request, we will process it and inform you of the next steps. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 3 business days.

4. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have requested a refund but haven’t received it yet, please first check your bank account or credit card statement. If you still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@elliemayyoga.com. It may take additional time for your refund to be processed by your bank.
